First, make sure the YouTube video is playing. If it still doesn't start, click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar once. If the YouTube player itself is muted, a warning card will appear — unmute the player directly (not your system volume) and recording will continue.

Transcription usually takes a few seconds to a few minutes depending on video length. Refresh the dashboard home or project list. If nothing appears after 10 minutes, email us with the video link and we'll check.

Credits typically arrive within 1 minute. If more than 10 minutes pass, please send your order ID (from the confirmation email) and your signup email so we can reconcile.

Unused credits from a credit pack can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. For a subscription, “Turn off auto-renew” on the billing page shows whether you can get a refund right away and how much. See the full refund policy or email us with your order ID.

The extension is on the Chrome Web Store. Click 'Add to Chrome' on the landing page or dashboard to open its store page, then click 'Add to Chrome' there. If you installed an older ZIP version, remove it at chrome://extensions and reinstall from the store.

Korea University works as soon as the extension is installed: open a lecture, play it, and the transcribe button appears at the bottom right. Other supported schools need one step per student: on a lecture page, click the extension icon and choose 'Start (school name) support' (Chrome asks for access to the new site). The list of schools is in the extension install guide. If your school isn't listed or one lecture isn't detected, click the extension icon on that lecture page and choose 'Please support this lecture'. We'll look at it, add it and email you.

We keep only the audio track extracted from your upload, in storage private to your account, and delete the original file after extraction. The stored audio lets you replay a lecture and retry a failed transcription; email us if you want it deleted. See the full privacy policy.
